Bankers in Lombard Street that the said John Burton< no role >
delivered the Bank Notes before described to one of the
Clerks of the said House and desired to open and Account
that said Burton then said his name was John
Brewer
< no role > and that he lived at No. 40 Limehouse
and entered the same in his own Hand Writing
in the Firm Book, that he wished to have Two
Hundred pounds in Small Notes and Cash and that
the other Six Hundred pounds would remain
for some Time, and this Informant further saith
that he gave said Burton the receipt now produced
for the said Six Hundred pounds, paid him Twenty
pounds in Cash and gave him Bank Notes for
One Hundred and Eighty poundsAnd further
says that the Bank Note now produced by Mr
Jellous for Ten pounds Vizt. No. 4174 dated the 8th. of October last is one of the Bank Notes
he so paid to the said Burton as aforesaid
And the said Sir John Goodricke< no role > for himself says
that the Name I Goodricke signed to the Bill of
Exchange beforementioned for Eight Hundred pounds
is not of the Hand Writing of this Informant
nor is any other part of the said Bill of Exchange
of his Hand WritingAnd this Informant further says
that he perfectly well knows the said John Burton< no role >
