Smith taken before me this 3rd, day
of March 1789

Who being upon Oath saith that last Night between
the house of eleven and twelve oClock as he was walking
along Russel Street Covent Garden he was [..] accosted
by a person now present who calls herself Eleanor
Brathwaite< no role > who asked him to go with her to her
LodgingsThat he accordingly went with her to
said Lodgings where he gave a Guinea in order to
get some Brandy which was got and the Change
amounting to twenty Shillings returned to this Informant
That at this time this Informant had in his Pocket
the said Change and a Guinea in MoneyThat Informant
then gave said Eleanor Brathwaite< no role > two Shillings and
had Connexion with her during which time the said
Eleanor Bathwaite< no role > picked his pocket of his remaining
Money viz. One Pound nineteen shillings
