The Information of
Samuel Woodall< no role >
taken on Oath before me this 15th. day of
April 1789
Who being upon Oath saith that at about half an hour
past five o Clock in the Afternoon of this day he was in
the Passage leading to the Pitt of Drury Lane Theatre
And during the time he waited there for the doors to be
opened he heard some Person "Say take Care of Your
Pockets Immediatly after which this Informant Caught
the hand of the Prisoners now present who calls himself
William Gray< no role >
coming out of this Informants Right hand
Breeches Pockett at which time he lost from his said
Pocket four half Gown piecesin Silverand about
Thirteen Shillings in Silver his property This
Informant immediatly pointed to the said Prisoner
and said that Man has Robbed me and he did not
lose sight of him till he was Apprehended
