The Informations of Mary
Dunning
< no role > of Clare Street Widow
and James Bag< no role > borough a Corporal
in Colonel Belive's Company in the
First Regiment of Foot Guards
taken before me this 2nd. day of
March 1789

Who being upon Oath severally say and first
the said Mary Dunning< no role > for herself Says that
she was this Afternoon left with the care of the
Shop of William Ballard< no role > of Clan Street Hatter
That several Hats were hanging on the outside
of the Window of said Shop That between the Hours
of Five and six o'Clock this Afternoon the person
now present who calls himself Shadrack Cropp< no role >
came up to the Window of said Shop and fell the
said Hats and went away that she immediately
Missed a Hat and ran into the Street after said
Crop and caused him to be secured and the
Hat also And this Informant further says that
the Hat now Produced is the same that was
stolen as aforesaid And the said James
Bagborough
< no role > for himself says that about five
o'Clock this Afternoon as he was passing through
New Inn
