Who being upon say and first the said John Oakes< no role >
the
Elder
for himself says that this Morning he brought Twelve
Roasting Pigs from Ealing
to London
for salethat in
Covent Garden
he Employed the prisoner Richard Mc. Gee< no role >
to carry said pigs from thence to Clare Market
, where
Informant took Two of the said Pigs in order to sell them
and left said Mc. Gee in Care of the other Ten in a Basket till he
Returnedthat when informant returned he found the said
Basket with Nine Pigs only but not said Mc. Geethat in about
five Minutes the said Mc. Gee came when informant asked
him what was become of the other pigs who replied Da [..]
the Pig I know nothing of the pig I know nothing of it there were
no more left than what are thereThat Informant then
askd him where he had been, and he replied he had been
to have a Pint of Beerthat Informant still continued to
charge him with taking said Pig and he as possitively
denied that he had seen it and several Time threatned
to Knock this Informant downAnd this Informant
further says he is very sure that the roasting Pig now
produced by John Elsworth< no role >
is the Identical Pig which was
taken out of his Basket from the remaining Nine, and
left in the possession of said Mc. Gee as aforesaidAnd
the said John Elsworth< no role >
for himself says that this Morning about
half past Nine o'Clock the prisoner Richard Mc. Gee came
to this Informants shop the Coroner of Clare Street and asked
