positive that the Coat now produced by Thomas Carpencal< no role >
is the Coat so left by the said Foreigner and given by
her this Informant to the said Jane Willis< no role > And further
says that she verily believes that the person now
present who calls himself Jacob Canter< no role > is the foreigner
who so lodged with her as aforesaid And the said
Jane Willis< no role > for herself saith that she lived with the said
Mary Jackson< no role > during the whole of the Month of September
lastThat on or about the 5th or 6th ofSepsaid Month of
September a Foreigner whom she understood to be either
a Dutch or German Merchant came to Lodge in the house
of said Mary Jackson< no role > and continued there for about
sixteen or Seventeen days during which time she constantly
waited upon him in the Capacity of a Servant to do what he wantedThat after
said Foreigner had quitted the Lodgings of said Mary Jackson< no role >
she said Mary Jackson< no role > gave this Informant the Coat now
produced by Thomas Carponieal which said Foreigner
had left in said Lodgings and which this Informant
hath frequently seen him wearAnd this Informant
further saith that she is very Sure that the person
now present who calls himself Jacob Canter< no role >
is the foreigner that so Lodged with the said Mary
Jackson
