Justices of the Peace in and for the said County who being
on their Oaths say and first The said
Thomas Gardiner< no role >
for
himself saith Last night about the hour of seven the Women
present who saith her name is

came into his
shop with another woman and
[..] asked the price of some
Cuttings of Bacon and went away That they soon returned
when the other Woman asked if he had any scrapings of
Butter says before he had done business with a Gentleman in his
Shop
William Lee< no role >
brought said
Ann Burch< no role >
into the Shop
with the piece of vacon produced weighting fourteen pound
and a half pound Value Five Shillings his property which
said piece of Bacon he had little
forbefore in his hand and
put on the Counter

on his Oath saith last night
about the hour of Seven he saw the said
Ann Burch< no role >
take the said Price of Bacon of the Counter and go out of
the Shop That he pursued and took her on the foot pavenment
out side the house and looking at it by the light of the Window
he seized her and Bacon and brought her into the Shop
