The information of Benjamin Nash < no role > Headborough
of the hamlet of Mile End New Town in the Parish
of St Dunstan Stepney and Robert Caney< no role > of Ratcliff
Highway in the parish of St. George Middlesex Broker taken
this 15th day of Jany 1789 Who being on their Oaths say and first
the said Benjamin Nash< no role > for himself saith on Friday last between
the hours of seven and Eight in the evening he saw the person present
who says his name is William Boston< no role > with the piece of sail
loth and took containing Six pewterd is her Two Iron frames Twenty
four Iron Barrs Six Iron tooks one Iron chain one Iron
bolt and two pieces of Iron all produced of the Value of
Eighteen Shillings. in petty coat lane and go to an old Iron
Shop where he seized him on Suspicion the same war stole
That a Woman opened a Window saying we dont serve which
shop is in the parish of Christ Church Spital field

Robert Caney< no role > on his Oath saith William Boston< no role > has worked
for his father James Caney< no role > as a Labourer at fifteen Shillings a
week standing Wages several months. That One of the Frames
he welt knows to be his said furthers property by the mark and her not
a Doubt ill the other articles produced are his said fathers property

William Boston< no role > saith about 18 Month age he lived servant with
Mr. Alderman Swain during which Time he hired Two lower Rooms
in Long alley Moorfield where he kept on old Iron shop by his Wife
and from thence went to St. Martins in the field during which time
all the Articles produced except the old Copper famiture and dishes
which he bought at a Gentleman house next to whitch all Westminster about
Ten Months age-and all other articles he bought in Long Alley
above a Twelve month ageand that the whole he had at his Lodgings
up a Garrett There pair of Stairs at Mr. John Salmon< no role > No. 125 Ratcliff
highway near his masters-that he pages Two Shillings a Week for the said
Garrett the furniture his own except the Bed and one Blanket
