John Phillips< no role > on Oath says that last
Monday about Five in the afternoon he sent his
Sister Mary Phillips< no role > to the Treasury Pump for
a Bottle of Water that when she went away she
had on a Flowered frock a Tippet & Cap and that
the Frock Tippett & Cap now produced this Infort
believes to be the same this Sister had on as yt.

returned home about half after Five o'Clock
being informed her Daughter Mary Phillips< no role > was
sent to the Treasury for Water thought something
had happend by her Staying and went to meet
her that in Charles Street near her Door this In-
fort mett her sd Daughter Crying Oh mother I've
been Robbed that upon this Infort asking by whom
she said two Girls had mett her in the Treasury that
the least Girl filld her Bottle and Broke it but
promised to give her another if she would go wth.
them that the said Girls took her by the Arms
into a privy in the Treasury that the least
of the sd Girls Stript her and then both ran away
that the sd Mary Phillips< no role > had no Frock no Cap or
handkerchief on when this Infort, met her
that the Frock Cap & handkerchief or Tippet now
produced are the same that this Infort put on
the Child in the morning before she went out &
are what she said Child usually wore that on
Saturday Evening last Catherine Mc. Miltar < no role > came
to her Lodgings and gave her the Information
respecting the said Robbery charging Jane

the said Robbery according to this Confession
