The Information of Andrew William Lodger at
Harry Smiths No 5 Meeting house Court Farmer Street
Shadwell in the said County Laborer and Benjamin Westbrook< no role > of Wapping Wall
Shadwell aforesaid Victualler. Taken this fifteenth day of June
1789 before me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace in
and for the said County.

Who being on their Oaths severally say and first the said
Andrew Williamson< no role > for himself Saith that about Eight O Clock in the
Forenoon of Saturday last he was in the Tap Room of Informant
Westbrooks House at which time the prisoner now present who calls
himself John Timmings< no role > came in and called for a Pint of Beer
which the Boy belonging to Mr Westbrook drew< no role > and delivered
to him, Saith that in about half an hour after the Same Boy came
to Informant and told him he thought said Timmings had something
about him which did not belong to him. whereupon Informant watched
him and Observing him go to the necessary followed him there and
upon searching him found the pint pot now produced in the Breeches
and the Quart pot produced he saw the said Timmings take out of
his Jacket Pocket and attempted to throw down the necessary but
was prevented from sodoing by Informant who secured him and
the Pots abovementionedAnd the said Benjamin Westbrook< no role >
for himself Saith that the Quart and Pint pot abovementioned and
now produced are his property and are of the value of Two Shillings and that he Suspects the same were
Stolen by said Timmings as he has lately lost a great many wts
and has frequently Seen the said Timmings at his house
