Who being upon Oath saith that upon his coming into
his Shop Yesterday Afternoon about four o'Clock
he found in his back Shop the two Persons now
Present who call themselves Ann Wheeler< no role >
and
Elizabeth Barnsley< no role >
attended by his Shopman
and both sitting by the Counter That he observed
the said Wheeler take Several Accounts of worked
Muslin from the Counter and Put their into her
lap That upon her going away he went up to her
and touched her Apron in order to look under
her Nuff when the said Wheeler turned round
and went to the Place when She had been Sitting
and dropped four Remnants of Muslin That
this Informant then charged said Wheeler
with
stealing said Remnants of Muslin when She
replied I wonder you can think of my stealing
"the Muslins I know nothing of them" upon which
the said Elizabeth Barnsley< no role >
Picked up said four
Remnants of Muslin from the Floor and threw
them on this Counter amongst other Goods And
this Informant further Saith he Suspects
and believes that the said Ann Wheeler< no role >
feloniously stole the said four Remnants of
Muslin
