Who saith that on Thursday Morning last

and him being at the book and Horn in Dukes

he this Examinant sent one Hugh Flannagan< no role >
to Burns
Lodgings requesting him to come to this Examinant at the
Book and Horn aforesaid for the purpose of coming into
the Strand
for some Cloaths - That said Agan and Burn
said They would go to said [..] Agains Lodgings in
Woolpack Alley
where Examinant told them he would
come to them after he had Transacted some Business with

Seemens Wages - That he went to Mr. Giles's where he
saw - Mr Grant his Clerk and spoke to him and asked
him if he had received an Answer relative to a Man
who was last on board the Vestal Frigate

Grant told Examinant that he had not called upon him
That in about seven Minutes from the time of leaving said
Burn and Egan at the Cock and Horn he called at said
Egans Lodgings in Woolpack Alley
where he found said
Burn said Egan and one Nancy who cohabits with said
Egan - That in about two or three Minutes time said Nancy
took from a shelf in said Room a Paper resembling the
Paper now produced and said that she wanted to look after
the Money which was coming to her in that paper and
desired that Mr. Burn would recommend her to some
Gentleman to get it - That this Examinant advised said
Burn to go with her and verily believes that said Burn
did not know the Contents of said Paper
