for the said County
Who being severally upon oath Say And first
this Informant William Mr. Coy for himself saith
That about seven of the Clock on Saturday Evening
last this Informant was going along Smart Buildings
Holborn when [..]
two men followed him one of whom placed a
Stick between his legs which made him fall
down whereby he was wounded in the face
and both the Said men then came to this
Informant pretending to assist him when they
picked his pocket of his watch and them
ran away And this Informant Phebe Christie
for herself Saith that she lives in Smart's Buildings
aforesaid that about seven of the Clock of the
same Day she came to her Door with a Candle
in her hand and Saw the person now present

seemed to be pretending to assist him
to get up, that upon finding the Said William

was recovering himself he ran away

Saith that about eight of Saturday Evening last
he apprehended the said Thomas Williams< no role >
from the description he had received of
