The Information of Joseph Heene< no role >
and Francis Scotland< no role > taken before
me one of his Majesty's Justices
of the peace for the said County

Who being severally upon oath says and first
this Informant Joseph Heene for himself Saith
that he is a servant to Mrs. Hindes whose
Coachhouse and Stables are in Millhill
Mews in the Parish of Saint Mary le borne
in the said County, That about Six of the
Clock on Sunday Morning last this Informant
hired the person now present who calls
himself John Bell< no role > to assist him in the
his Stables which he accordingly did until
about Nine of the Clock same morning where
this Informant missed the said John Bell< no role >
and upon searching a room in the Stables
found that a Silver watch a pair of leather
Breeches two shirts a pair of shoes two
pairs of plated Buckles and two pairs of
stockings had been feloniously taken and carried
away And this Informant further Saith
that about half past eleven of the Clock last
night the said John Bell< no role > was apprehended
when this Informant searched him and found
in his possession one pair of leather Breeches
one pair of stockings one pair of shoes one
pair of Buckles and a Handkerchief which
are the property of this Informant and stolen
as aforesaid And this Informant further
