John Brown< no role > for himself saith that on Sunday the tenth Instant
being at his Masters house (the Crown and Seepher Brompton< no role > Row )
sitting in the tap room between Nine and ten o Clock in the Evening
the Prisoner Isaac Millard< no role > came into the said room and sat upon the
table and pulled out of this Packet a cap and ribband now produced
this Informant Asked now he came by them he first said he found
them and afterwards the Prisoner said he took them form of a womans
head the Informant Asked what womans the Prisoner answered
the woman that had been there that Afternoon that the Prisoner
then gave this Informant the ribband now produced on the next
Morning being Monday Cleaning the knives in an out house
[..] the Cap lying among some Wood he picked it up and put
it upon a Shelf and the next Day the goal it to his Mother

John Tofild< no role > for himself upon oath saith that on
Thursday the fourteenth Instant he went to Mr Burrows upon
some business of the Parish where he saw Mary Brown< no role > Who told him
she had been robb'd and Ill treated on sunday Evening, that he made
Enquirey who the soldier was and Apprehended him, that this Informant
asked the Soldier about the articles Mary Brown< no role > had last he at first
desired it but afterwards Acknowledged that he had the Cap and
ribband that he had [..] the Cap to the Tap boy and had the
ribband in his Hand which is now produced

and Joseph Thompson< no role > for himself saith upon
oath that on searching the Prisoner at Mr Hydes Office (when
Apprehended) he found the ribband now produced in the prisoners
pocket
