Aged about Eight Years Taken the 24th. day
of January 1787
.
Who upon her oath Saith That her Mother lives
at No. 3 in Coventry Court
near the Hay market
and
is a Laundress That last Thursday Evening about
a quarter past 5.o Clock her Mother sent her to a
Mr. Sandells in Ryders Court near there for some
Linnen to wash and Received some Linnen and the
Gentlewoman
who gave it her told her there were
Two Shirts Two Waistcoats and Two Cam brick
Neck Handkerchiefs which were put in a Red and
White Coloured Handkerchief That as she was going
home and had got into Coventry Court
Two Boys
followed her and asked her where She lived She said
No. 3 in Coventry Court
one of the Boys said they
lived No. 5 in the same Court and immediately
She was Thrown down on the Ground and the Boys
took the Bundle from her and Ran away and She
was very much frightened and Cryed out Stop Thief
but the Boys were gone away That Two Boys now in
Custody who say their Names are William Welch< no role >
and
Henry Conway< no role >
are the persons who so Assaulted and
Robbed her.
