Lane in the County of Middlesex Coach maker
being sworn on the day and at the place
within written on his Oath Saith that this
Examinant on the twentieth day of December
Instant about ten oClock at Night saw the deceased
on the Pavement in the Kings Road, that
the deceased appeared intoxicated, and could
not speak on walk, that this Examt. went
to the Sign of the Yorkshire Grey, and
called the Watchman and desired two
Watchman to take care of the deceased,
and take him to the Watchhouse, that
the Watchmen accordingly came out
and assisted this Examt. to convey the
deceased to the Watchhouse, that this
Examinant carried the deceased part of
the Way, and the two Watchmen the rest
of the Way, to the Watchhouse that the
deceased did not speak in going to
the Watchhouse, that when he came
to the Watchhouse, same person Ordered
him to be taken down Stairs, that he
was accordingly taken out of the Room
and this Examt. left the Watch house
in a few Minutes afterwards
