taken before as two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who Severally being upon oath say
And first this Informant John Young< no role > for himself
Saith that he is the keeper of the Round house
in the parish of Saint Giles in the fields , That
on the twenty seventh of December last he received
into his custody the person now present who
calls himself Lazarus Greaves< no role > who remained in his
custody for about two hours during which time the
other Informant William Gibbs< no role > called upon this
Informant who took him into his private room
and asked him what the said Lazarus Greaves< no role > was
charged with as he was a Soldier in the Regiment
in which the said William Gibbs< no role > was corporal
when this Informant told him he was charged
on Suspicion of felony That in the morning of the
twenty eighth of December last a person of the
name of Reynolds called on this Informant and
told him that the Soldier who this Informant had
in custody the day before had stolen his Watch
upon which he had the said Lazarus Greaves< no role >
secured And this Informant further Saith
