The Information of Edward Jones< no role > No. 70 Ratchiff Highway in
the Parish of Saint George Middlesex Hosier Taken this seventh
day of December 1787 before me One of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County who being on his Oath
Saith that on Wednesday Evening last the person present who
says his Name is Charles Drier< no role > other wise Carl Freuer< no role > came into Informant Shop
to buy a Pair of Stockings look'd at a Pair of Cotton Stockings
and went out of the Shop when Informant Mist the said Cotton
Stockings and Immediately followed the said Charles Drier< no role > and saw
him throw the Stockings produced away which Informant Picked
up and found them to be the Stockings which had been stolen out
of his Shop as aforesaid and which said Stocking are of the
Value of two Shillings
