Taken the 24th. day
of September 1787
The said Ann Welch< no role >
for himself upon oath Saith That
one Mary Davis< no role >
now in Custody feloniously Stole
from her House in Drury Lane
this Morning
about half past 11: o Clock one pair of Mens Shoes
upon which She followed her and Seized her by the
Cloak but She did not see the Shoes upon her That
the Shoes now Produced are the same That the
said Mary Davis< no role >
Took away as aforesaid
The said Lawrance Welch< no role >
upon her Oath Saith
That he heard a Noise and went out of the Shop
into the Street and saw his Wife with the Woman
and saw the Shoes now produced drop from under
her Cloak That they me his property and are of
the Value of Three Shillings and Six pence
