taken before me this 3d. day of August 1787

Who Says he is a Sadler and lives in Queen Street Brompton
That Yesterday he went to House Gardens in Company with
Same Friends That about 8 o'Clock in the Evening he left
his Company and walk'd about the Gardens when to met
Mary [..] Hunt< no role > now present that he walk'd about in the
Gardens with her about a quarter of an Hour That among the
other things he ask'd her if she was a married Woman
That She replied She was not That She lived with a
Gentleman who was gone abroad about six Months
That he then ask'd her if she had any object on the Fresh
Husband that She replied No if she could get me on
Proper Ten [..] s. That he ask'd her what was her Forms
That She said if he would give her a Guinea she would
be at the rxpence of a Coach to Town and he should
lay with her all Night That they then went out of
the Garden together and near the three Sugar leaves
a Coach Stood That She ask'd the Coachman if he was
disengaged who replied he was engaged That they then
proceeded towards [..] Town that he turn'd into a
Corn Field about one Hundred Yards to case himself
That She followed him and ask'd him for the Money That
instead of taking a Guinea out of his Pocket he took out a
Shilling That she laid hold of his Hand and [..] ked
the Shilling away and kept it That she observed it was
only a Shilling when he said if she was not Satisfied with
it to return it That he then took hold of her Hand to
take the Shilling away when She Screamed out but
he did not take the Shilling away That he then took
held of her by the Middle when she Screamed out again
when he desisted and left her And further says he never
was upon the ground with her or took any indecent liberty
with her
