Joseph Guilliott< no role >
taken upon Oath before me this 30th
day of June 1787
Who being duly Sworn Saith that on Saturday
the 23d of June Instant about four o'Clock in the
Afternoon this Informant met William Dean< no role >
in Aldgate Street and Asked him what he did
at that end of the Town, Dean Asked this
Informant if he had heard any that had happened
in Johnsons Court this Informant said he had
Called at his late Masters (Mr. Oliver) in VineChander
Street
and boy told him that two Constable
had been Searching for William Dean< no role >
at his
Lodging and had taken Something out, but could
not tell what, this Informant asked Dean if
he know any thing of the Property that was taken
from Mr Mc. Farrens house in Johnsons Court
as his house had been broke open, he made
no Reply) but asked him to go to his Present Master
for Some Wages, and meet him next day (Sunday)
at a Public house in the Minories
, this Informant
went to his Master who Refused paying him and
told this Informant that two Men had been there in
Search of Dean and wished to See him himself
next day Monday this Informant Met Dean of
East Smith field
and they came to Covent Gardens
there Dean gave him a Note to take to his [..]
