is a material Witness for these Deponents who are advised
that they cannot safely take their Trial on the above
Indictment without the testimony of the said John Palmer< no role >
And that these Deponents will be able to procure the said

to give such testimony on Friday next but
not sooner And this Deponent Patrick Haynes< no role >
for
himself saith that he did last night by the request of
the other Deponents apply to the said John Palmer< no role >
for
the purpose of procuring his appearance this day on the
Trial of the above named Defendants who informed this
Deponent that he was obliged to go upon Duty tomorrow
(meaning this day) the twenty third day of May and therefore could not attend but
that he would appear and give testimony on behalf of
the above named Defendants on Friday next And
this Deponent further saith that the verily believes
