in and
for the said County this 15th. day of May 1786
This Informant upon his Oath saith that on Saturday [..] last being the
Thirteenth day of this Instant May about the House of Eleven in the Evening he was in
Company and in Conversation with two Women, when [..] a Person who calls himself
by the Name of George Stevens< no role >
and two other Peryns [..] at Present unknown. came up to him and without speaking made a
Snatch at his Brucher and at that time he the said George Stevens< no role >
did feloniously take the said George Stevens< no role >
£ carry away a f [..] Cham, two Metal Seals, and a Brass Watch They from out of the [..] Bruches Feb of him
the said William Martin< no role >
upon which he seized him, when he the said George
Stevens< no role >
did feloniously cut and Wound and put him the said William Martin< no role >
in fear of his Life, but not with standing his being so assaulted he never Quitted
the Prisoner until taken in Custody [..]
