Saith she lodges at Mr Evans in the Front Garrett our
Simpsons Apartment That between three and four
o Clock on Friday Morning last Mrs Evans Cryed out "Murder"
which Awakened Informant and Informant heard her
say "For Gods Sake Evans Get up, for he has get a Knife
And called out to the Witness and her Husband to come down
Stains - That her Husband went down first and Informant
followed him - That when she came into Simpsons Room
she saw Mrs Simpson sitting at the Side of the Bed on the
[..] Outside in her Shift with her Hands and Face very
Blody - That Mrs Evans had a Bason of Water in her hand
and Informant took it from her and Wash'd the Blood off her face and Hand
and then Persuaded the deceased to go into Mrs Evans Room
and helped her there - That Simpson was standing by the
Bed Foot but did not say any Thing [..] That Mrs Evans
then had [..] a Pen Knife in her Hand which she gave to her
Husband - That the deceased was put to Bed in Mrs
Evans's Room - That Informant observed a wound over
her Nose but no other
