The Examination of William Lovelle
taken this 11th. day of December 1786
Who saith that Yesterday about six o'Clock in
the Evening he went to the House of George [..] Palethorpe< no role >
in Litchfield Street to deliver a Messuage he
received from said George [..] Palethorpe< no role > 's Son at Paris That
he staid there about an hour and a half That
during the June he staid he took an opportunity
of Stealing a Silver Table Spoon and a Silver Tea Spoon
That he sold the Table Spoon to a Jew for Six
Shillings and the Tea Spoon to Ann Martin< no role >
now present for Six Pence And that the Spoon
now produced by the said Ann Martin< no role > is the
same Spoon which he so stole and sold to the said
Ann Martin< no role > as aforesaid
