The Examination of John Mc Mahon< no role >
charged with Felony by Valentine Walker< no role >
of the Parish of Saint James is
the C ounty of Middlesex
; and taken before me Sir Sampson Wright< no role > Knt .
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 11th Day of September
17 86 .

Who says that he has lived with Mr. Walker, Watch Cases maker
in Islington for about Seven Week, last past as Errand Boy, that
he has Stolen Gold Twining which are kept in a Tin Box in his
said Master's Shop three different times since he has been there
That the two first quantities of Gold twining, which he so Stole
Us aforesaid he gave to his Father Patrick Mc Mahon< no role > now
present, that he told his Father how he got said Gold Twining that
his Father afterwards Inform'd him, that he had Sold said Gold
twining, one quantity for Sixteen Pence and the other Quantity
for one Shilling And further say that on some one day last
Week he stoel another Quantity of said Gold Twining and left them
with his Mother on Saturday last, his Father not then being at
Home, That he believes the Gold Twining now produced are the same
which he left with his Mother as aforesaid And this Examinant
further says that about a Month since he Stole a Pair of Silver
which he gave to his Father [..] or his Mother, but which
he cannot particularly recollect
