knocked at deceaseds Room Door. and Deponent Shut her
Room Door. and immediately heard deceased open her Room
Door and Shurley asked her for payment of a pot of Bear she
had, had. on Friday Nightdeced said she owed him for now
he said She did, and he had brought it to her.She denied dit
and Said he was a lying Fellow and if he did not go down Stairs
She would kick him down. he Said he would swear
to itthe deceased then Said to Shurley would you Strike
me and just then Mrs. Godfrey came up and Deponent
opened her Room Door, and asked him if he was not
wrong as she Deponent owed him for a Pot of been besides
that he had broughther on the Friday Night he second confused, and said he
had brot. it there meaning to the deceaseds Room deceased appeared very angry, but
did not hear or see any blow struck on either Side then
Mrs. Godfrey made Shurley go down. Stairs before her.
