that having seen one of the saidJohn David Ferguson< no role > 's
hand Bills Stating that he had been Robbed of such kind
of Goods he this Deponent sent to the saidJohn, David
Fergusson
< no role > and Appointed him to be at the House of
him this Deponent this Morning
That about Eight o'Clock this Morning he this
Deponent went to the Black Bull in Petticoat
Lane aforesaid and there saw the said Thomas Akis< no role >
and the other person now present who says his Name
is Nathaniel Roberts< no role > That the said ThomasAkis
Akis
< no role > and Nathaniel Roberts< no role > together with this
Deponent went from thence to a House in Long
Alley near Moorfield and,That the there was thewn the
Goods now produced and Agreed to Buy them for two Guineas
and me half That the Person who brought them
to the said Thomas Akis< no role > was to has one Guinea and one half and the
Said Thomas Akis< no role > and Nathaniel Roberts< no role > were
to have Ten Shillings a pieceThat this Deponent
then went away and told the said Thomas Akis< no role > and
Nathaniel Roberts< no role > he would meet them at the Bull in
Petticoat Lane about Ten o' ClockThat he went
there accordingly and there again saw Akis and
Roberts then it was agreed that the goods should in
be carried to this Deponents House & there paid for
That the person now present who says his
Name is Joseph York< no role > nowCame in and
was Seeming by Employed to carry one of the
Bindles to this Deponents House That the
said Thomas Akis< no role > carried the remainder and Roberts
Walked with this Deponent That when they came to
this Deponents House he put them in to a Back room
and sentthemfor an Officer and had them apprehended
Lastly Saith that the Worsted and Wooll and Black
Bindings now by him this Deponent produced is the same
Goods that were so carried to this Deponent by the
said Joseph York< no role > & Thomas Akis< no role >
