The Information of John
Turner

in the City of London Haberdasher
taken a Oath before me Sir
Sampson Wright< no role > Knight are of
his Majesty's Justices of the peace
in and for the County of Middlesex
this twentieth day of October 1786

Who being on Oath saith that about seven
o'Clock last Night he went into the Sign of the
Swan at Sud [..] ury Green in the Parish of Harrow
and ask'd if they could accomodate [..] them with a Lodging
That the Landlord told him his Beds were all full's
but that he might get a Lodging at the Black
Herse which was at the distance of about half
a Mile That he shaid in the said House
about an Hour during all which nice two
persons now present and calling themselves
William Giggs< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. and James Rudd< no role > were drinking
therein That sd. Rudd offered to accompany this
Informant to the Black. Horse . That they went
out together and when they had got about a
Hundred Yards from the House the this Informant received a
violent blow upon his Head which brought
him to the ground That as soon as he recovered
himself he saw the said Rudd and Giggstwo personsnow present
who tied his Hands and Feet and then beat him for
a considerable time That they cut of his Breeches
Pocket in which was the Purse now produced
and about Six Pounds four Shillings That
they also took from him a Pocket Book a Pen
knife his Hat a Shore his Stock and Stock
Buckle now also produced That said Rudd
then went away and said Giggs continued
till the Landlord of the said Swarn Pullick
