informing him that the trial of the said William

and John Campbell< no role >
was expected to come on the next day and
in consequence of such letter this Deponent Filman Henkell< no role >
attended
at the Old Bailey
and sent a note to the Clerk of the Arraign to
know when the said William Ross Darby and John Campbell< no role >
's trial
would come on who returned for on sever that the Grand Jury hord
not found the bill and that probably it might not come on till
Monday and in the afternoon of the same day the said Teasdale
sent word to this Deponent Filman Henkell that the bill was
returned not found by the Grand Jury and that no attendance by
these Deponents was necessary and these Deponents say that relying
on the promise of the said Marmaduke Teasdale< no role >

to give these Deponents notice as aforesaid was the reason for these
Deponents not attending to give evidence against the said William Ross
Darby and John Campbell< no role >
and not with any intention to favor the
said William Ross Darby and John Campbell< no role >
or either of them or
for any reward on hope or expectation of reward
