Ratcliff Highway in the Parish of St. George Middlesex
Mariner and Elizabeth Watts< no role > servant to Mr. Robert
Kelvy
< no role > of Lower Shadwell Street Victualer

The Said James Jenkins< no role > on his Oath says on Monday last
in the Afternoon he with the Prisoner present who says his Name
is Joseph Murgatroyd< no role > went to the house of the said Robert Kelvy
where they had a pint of BeerThe said Joseph Maryatroyd< no role > to
sit down on his right handand The Two Woman present who
say their names are Ann Kent< no role > and Elizabeth Burn< no role > came into
the same box opposite to this Informant as soon as he and his
Companion had sit down and soon after he missed The Pocket
Book produced in which book was Two Guineas wrapped
up in a Piece of paperEight Shillings and six pence in Silver
and his Smart TicketThat he took the said Pocket
brok from out of the Lap of the said Elizabeth Burn< no role > who
endeavoured to prevent his seeing the same and On Examining
The said Book he found the said Paper with The Two
Guineas had been taken out of the said Pocket Book
and that he is very certain The said Two Guineas was in the
said Book when he went into the said house and sit down as afore
saidThe said Elizabeth Wetts< no role > on her Oath says On Monday
afternoon James Jenkins< no role > Joseph Murgatreyd< no role > and Ann Kent< no role > came
into her said Masters house and had a pint of beer That Elizabeth
Burn
< no role > came and sit down by Ann Kent< no role > What Joseph Margaboyed< no role >
said [..] to the said Woman That James Jenkins< no role > had Two Guineas
and Some Silver in his Pocket book and it was a City [..] some
person had it who would take care of it [..] when Elizabeth Burn< no role >
asked where it waswhen the said Joseph Murgatroyd< no role > put his
head into the Pocket of the said James Jenkins< no role > and took the said
Pocket book of out of his Pocket and laid the same on the Table
when the said Elizabeth Burn< no role > took the said Book off the Table
and put the same into her Lap and opened the said Book and
took out a paper wrapped up [..] with something therein
Says Soon after James Jenkins< no role > missed his Pocket Book when
she told him Elizabeth Burn< no role > had the same when the said James
took the said Pocket Book from herwho directly opened the said
Book looked therein and said he had lost Two Guineas out of it
and on his Complaining the saw Elizabeth Burn< no role > put the said paper
parcel into the hand or apron of ann Kent< no role > who let the same fall on
the Floor, That she saw Elizabeth Burn< no role > with the said paper servell
off the Floor whist pulling off her Shoes and Stockings to be searched
