severally
make Oath and say And first the Deponent William Peters< no role >
for himself saith that he directed a Wirt of Subpena to be issued
out of and from this Honorable Court and he believes the same was
accordingly issued directed to William Thompson< no role >
which said
William Thompson< no role >
is a material Witness in behalf of this
Deponent and that he cannot with safety take his Tryal
without his Evidence And the Deponent William
Turner< no role >
for himself saith that in pursuance of the annexed
writ of Subpena he went to the House of the above named
William Thompson< no role >
in order to serve him with a Copy of
the same at the Broad Wall in the Parish of Christ Church
in or near where this
Deponent was informed by the Wife of said William
Thompson< no role >
that her Husband was gone out of Town on
Business, that She expected him to return in about
Three Weeks and not before, and the said Deponent
do believe the said material Witness will be in Town
and attend to give his Evidence on the Tryal of the
said prisoner at the next Sessions, if the same should
be deferrd till them
