The several Informations of John Clarke< no role >
and John Fell< no role > Taken the 12th. day of
June 1786 .

Who upon their Oaths severally say And first
the said John Clarke< no role > for himself Saith That
about the hour of 10. o'Clock in the Morning of friday
last one William Knight< no role > (now in Custody) came to
his Shop in Charles Street Soho Square and
asked him to purchase some fronts and Bits which
he said was given to him by his Master who was
gone abroad but he refused to buy Them That
about the hour of One. o'Clock the same day one
Samuel Newton< no role > Came to his Shop and brought a
a Leather Bridle with at Plated bit to Sell and this
Informant Knowing That the Bridle was the property
of Mr: Feel and suspecting it to be Stolen he
refused to buy it and Stopped the Bridle; Newton
said he would go and bring the Man he had bought
it of and about half an hour afterwards Knight
Came to him and told him he saw Newton bury it
