The Information of Nicholas Bond< no role > of Acton in the Court
of Middlesex Butcher and James Swan< no role > of Henrietta
Street Manchester Square Carpenter taken before
me this 18th.. day of October 1785

Who being upon oath say and first the said Nicholas Baid< no role >
says that on Saturday Night on Sunday morning last this Informant
Shop at Acton aforesaid was broke open and a hind Quarter
of Mutton a Neck of Mutton and other Meat stolen
thereinand the said James Swan< no role > says that on Sunday
Morning he bought of a person now present who calls
himself John Davis< no role > a Leg and part of a Loin of Mutton
and gave him about three shillings and six pence for the
sameThat he said he had it of a Widow Woman who
lived at Ealing or Acton to whom he was a Servant and
that she desired him to Sell it
