< no role > of Rosemary Lane Whitechapel Cook and of the
said William Connell< no role > taken this 17 Oct 1785

Who being on their Oaths Say and first the said Terence Agent< no role > himself
saith Yesterday Morning between the Hour of Six and Seven he awoke
and Missed his Coat Waistcoat Shirt Handkerchief Shoes and buckles
and One Shilling and Two pence which was his his said Waistcoat Pocket [..] and a
White Handle KnifeThat he got up went down Stairs and told said
William Connell< no role > That he had been robbed of said Goods and Money who
went out end in a few Minutes returned with the Prisoner now present
who say his Name is William Kelly< no role > who had this Informants Coat Waistcoat
Shirt Handkerchief Shoes and buckles and [..] Cotton handle Knife now producedfurther says
on Search

The said William Conncell< no role > for himself Saith Yesterday Morning [..]
the said Terence Agen Complained that he had been robbed. Says on hearing that William
Kelly
< no role > who lodged at his house the night before had gone out of his house
with a Bundle he pursued and took him in Rosemary Lane and brought
him back with a Bundle containing a Coat Waistcoat Shirt handkerchief
Shoes and Buckles now produced which the said Terence Agen claimed
as his property and had been taken out of the Room in which he slept
William Morgan< no role > Headborough of Whitechapel saith he was sent for
to take charge of William Kelly< no role > Yesterday morning for robbing
Terence Agen< no role > says on searching him he found the Three Knives now
produced Two Shillings and Six pence in Silver and about Five
penny worth of half pence in the Pockets of the said Terence Kelly< no role >
