The Information of William Read< no role > of Bridges Street
Covent Garden Oilman taken before me his
26th. day of April 1785

Who being upon Oath says that a person now present
who calls himself Thomas Proft< no role > hath lived with him for six
Months and upwards during which space of Time he hath
missed different Quantitys of Half pence and further says
that he this morning suspecting the said Thomas Croft< no role >
to have robbed him searched his Box in which he
found the ten shillings and sixpence now produced
