this 1st. day of December 1784
Who being upon Oath say and first said Elizabeth Davis< no role >
says that about four oClock last Saturday afternoon a person now present
who calls himself William Anderson< no role >
came to her at her said Masters
House and desired her to go to her Fathers in Castle Court near the
Broad Way Westminster
and tell him to come to Clare Market
at
six oClock that Evening and fetch some Pork which he had bought
for him-That this Informant went to her Father and returned home
and the said Sarah Parrott< no role >
staid till she returned-That said Sarah Parrott< no role >
went out about half past 6 oClock and in about a quarter of an
hour a Man came to the Door and presented a Letter as for
Mr. Powel-That on this Informants opening the Door said Man
threw her down in the Passage
presented a Pistol and swore he would
blow her Brains out if she [..] stirred-That two other Men rushed
in and fastened the Door after them with a Chair-that they threw
this Informants Apron over her Head, took her into the Parlour and
demanded to know where the Money was-that after plundering the
Parlour, Melvin Summons now present (one of the said three Persons)
by the other two's direction took her into the Kitchen where he
stood over her till the others came down, with whom said
Simmonds returned up Stairs, after locking Informant in the Kitchen
That upon Sarah Parrots making an Alarm at the Door said
Simmonds came down, and asked her if there were any Trap
Doors at the Top of the House, or any other Place by wheel he could
