Taken on Oath this 29th. day of december 1784 before met
on of his Majestys Justices of Kitchen in and for the said
County.Who
being on OathSaith That:.
On the Morning of December 20th. 1784 this Informt.
was alarmed by his Servant Knocking at his Chamber
Don & saying these were Rogues in the House (or
Words to that Effect) on which after letting the Servant
into his Room & ordering him to reach down his Blunderbuss
he this Informant called from his Window to the
Watchman or Watchmen who were standing in
the Front of this Informant House & told him
or them to go to the back of his House for [..]
these were Thieves in it & to make as little [..]
as possibleThat this Informant then slipt on
his Cloaths, loaded his Blunderbuss & with his
Man went down Stairs when this Informant found
his Sailors Door open, which had been locked & the
Door of a Closet (which is in the Room) likewise open
& all the Plate which was the seen taken out consistg
of the several Articles mentioned in the Inventing
hereunto annexed lend the Window of the sd. Room also open
