Middlesex to wit.

The Information of William Limby< no role > , John
Crowther< no role > and Joseph Cooper< no role > , taken before me this,
24th. Day of September 1784.

Who being on Oath say and first the said William Limby< no role > Says that
last Night about 9 o' Clock as he was passing throught Portugal Street Lincoln
Inn Fields, a Person now Present who calls himself John Jepp< no role > gave
him a push on the had which pushed him down and took [..] him a
Bundle containing a Cloak, that he immediately pursued him and call'd
''Stop Thief''; and this Informant further says that he never last Sight of said
Jepp until he was taken in Custody. And the said John Crownther< no role >
says that about 9 o' Clock last Night as he was passing through Portugal
Street he heard the Cry of ''Stop Thief '' and saw said Jepp runnningrun away
and throw away a bundle now produced whichthiswas taken up by
a person and given to this Informant And the Said Joseph Cooper< no role >
Says that last Night about 9 o' Clock in Portugal Street he heard the Cry of ''Stop Thief'' that
he saw Said Jepp running; and pursued him and [..] Secured him.
