locked them in a Buck Parlour whilst they plundered the House
And the said George Mc.. Kenzie< no role > says that he Knocked at the
door at this time and was let in by said James Hamilton< no role > about
8 o'Clock. That said Hamilton asked Informant How he did Informant
replied very well. Hamilton then tapped him on the Shoulder saying
Walk this Way and I let you see some pretty Inn-Informant asked
him what he meant, when Hamilton presented a Pistol and said
He would blow his brains out if he stirred'and immediately his Companion
came out of the Parlour with a Cutlass in his hand-That they put
Informant into the Parlour - Informant asked them what they meant
They replied that "They were Officers and were come to Search the
House" Informant asked If they were come to rob itThey replied
"York, these tied his hands behind and took him with than- whilst they
plundered the House of a considerable Quantity of Plate Linon and
other Goods, several Bank Notes, Money Etc. That after this they put him
into the Parlour with his Wife and Sister, tied his Hands a fresh and
Legs also, then locked the doors and went away
