9th.. Day of June 1784.

Who on his Oath says that between 9 and 10 o'Clock last night as
he was coming out of the Hay market Theatre; two or three Boys twice attempted
to pick his pocket, whom he Rebutead and threatend to in knock down it
they attempted it again, at which Instant [..] a Person to Knock dowm if

against this Informant with great force, at which instant the said Richard
Edwards< no role > This name instance is in set 1415. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . pulled this Informants Watch chain and Seals, out of his
Fob That this Informant said hold of said Edwards and kept him
some time with the Watch Chain and Seals in this hand but was
afterwards rescured by others
