The Information of Daniel Levy< no role > a Jew taken
the 2nd: day of June 1784.

Who upon his Oath saith That about the hour of
Eleven oClock this Morning as he was Calling out Old Cloaths
to Sell in Cross Lane Saint Giles in the fields , a Woman
called to lain from the Window of a One pair of Hairs
Room in a House in the said Street and asked him to
buy a Great Coat which he Consented to and wentup
Hairs to the said woman for that purpose, That the said
Woman then said he had not Money Enough but this
Informant told her he had and immediately pulled out of
his In side Coat Pocket a Quantity of Silver and
half pence and shew'd it to the said woman to Convince
her he had Money to Buy the said Coat and then put
it in the said Pocket When the said woman Pushed
him against the wall and forcibly put her hand in his
said Pocket and feloniously Stole from him the f [..]
of One Pounds Nine Shillings in Silver and One
Shilling in half pence and the made her Escape
And this Informant Saith That he did not see
any Great Coat and therefore he verily believes the said
Woman called him up stairs for the purpose of
Robbing him That she says her Name is
