this Informant attends and put the Watchman on Shore
from on Board the said Ship that he afterwards
that is a second time went on Board the said Ship
and on his return from thence in order to came on Shore
at George Alley (which was a boat five OClock the same
Morning the said Brown Legon and Mullen [..]
him and hold of his Boat which they heldkeptfor the
space of five or six Minutes Damned him for a
Bougre and said It had drowned it whereupon
Mullen said Damn your Eyes you have drowned
it and I would take your life if I couldAnd
Informant further saith that he then told the said
Brown Legon and Mullen that he was a friend of
Rules meaning the other Informant James Rule< no role > ) and
that he should acquaint him with the Robbery
they had Committed in Stealing his Boat whereupon
the said three Men Rewed up the River and as Informant
presumes to New Crane stairs but of which he cannot
be certain having seen them no further than Shadwell
Dock but lastlyand saith that he saw the said Brown
Legon and Mullen in about an hour afterwards in
prisoner Brownes own Boat and that he knows nothing
of Rules Boat never having seen her Singe but lastly
Saith that he is certain the above three men were the
three persons who feloniously look and rowed away
the said Boat the property of the other Informant

Rule
< no role > for himself saith that about Twelve OClock
on Saturday night last he went down to New Crane
Stairs and properly Locked fastened and Secured the said
Boat at her Mornings but that he hath not seen or heard
of the same since. but saith that the said three
