Middlesex to wit.


The Information of Wm. Fryer< no role > Esqr . William Hartley< no role >
and James Mr. Manns taken before me this 26th. Day
of May 1784.

Who being on Oath say and first the said William Fryer< no role > Says that
in Tuesday Evening was sevenight, he was Robbed by three Footpad,
(in company with the said Mr. Hartley) near Balls Pond turnpike,
of a Purse containing one Guinea, and a Handkerchief, and does
verily believes that three Persons now present who call themselves
John Stanley< no role > , John Meers< no role > . and Isaac Cash< no role > , are the said three
Foot pads, And the said William Hartley< no role > says that he was robbed
at the same time of three Guineas, three or four Half Crowns and
other Silver, and is likewise of opinion that the before mentioned
persons, are the said three Footpads, and further Says that two
of the said Footpads, had Aprons on, at the time of the Robbery
And the said James Mc Mann< no role > says that the same Evening
about half past 11 o'Clock he met the said three Persons together
near Shore ditch Church-and found on Stanleys person the Guinea
and four Half Crowns now produced, at which time Stanley
had the brown Apron on now produced, and Cash the blue apron
on now produced.
