The Information of John Barnes< no role > of the
Parish of Saint George Bloomsbury in the said
County Taken the 20th. day of January 1784

Who upon his Oath Saith That on friday last
about the hour of One o Clock in the afternoon he this
Informant received Information that some person or
persons had Stolen out of his Shop a quantity of
Floor Cloth That this Informant immediately went
in Pursuit of such Person and in Dyot Street Saint
Giles in the fields he met the prisoner Hugh Graham< no role >
who had in his possession a large piece of Floor Cloth
about 18 Yards of the Value of Three Pounds and
Upwards and another piece about 10 Yards of the Value
of Twenty Shillings was thrown upon the Ground by
another Man who made his Escape And this Informant
Saith That the said Two pieces of Floor Cloth are
his property and was Stolen from his Shop on the
16th: day of January Instant That he Secured the
above named High Graham< no role > and took him before a
Justice
