The Information of Ann Price< no role > of the Oxford
Coffee house in the Strand Spinster , and
Valentine Saunders< no role > of the same place Waiter
taken before me this 28th.. day of January
1784.

Who on their Oath say and first the said Ann Price< no role > says
that on Monday last about two o'Clock, a person now present
who calls himself Benjamin Smith< no role > came into the Oxford
Coffee house and had a Glass of Brandy and WaterThat after
paying for his Brandy and Water this Informant saw said Smith
take up a Silver table Spoon from the Table in Box No. 5, and walk [..]
towards the door, when this Informant stopped him and asked
him for the Spoon he had taken off said Table, whereupon said
Smith delivered to this Informant the Spoon now produced. And
the said Valentine Saunders< no role > says that he saw said Smith
take said Spoon as before described and afterwards same
him deliver said Spoon to Mrs. Price upon his being stopped
