Stolen as aforesaid, when they both denied having
any other property than that which they then gave
him and which is now Produced as aforesaid

And this Informant further Saith that the next
day Also under Mailland the person who had
been Robbed of the Pormanteau Etc delivered him
a Warrant to Search the House of the said William
Tomlin
< no role > and upon such Search a Laced Apron
two Combs and a Quantity of Hair Powder now here
likewise produced was found by him in the House
of the said William Tomlin< no role > all which articles above
mentioned is now deposed and Sworn to ley Ann
Maitland
< no role > to be the property of her husband the
said Alexander Maitland< no role > abovenamed, and which
are Part of the Contents of the said Portmanteau
Trunk so Stolen as aforesaid. And further Saith
not.And this Informant William Elbey< no role >
for himself Saith that having received Information
of one Richard Mills< no role > (now present and whom he
knew to be an old and Notorious Offender) having
been Concerned in the above Robbery he apprehended
him and found [..] upon him One Shirt and
One Kersymere Waistcoat (now produced) which
said Shirt and Waistcoat being Shewn to the
