The Information of George Lynam< no role > Jeremiah
Branson
< no role > John Atkins< no role > and Thomas Parbury< no role > taken
before me this 20th. day of August 1783

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said George Lynam< no role >
says that between the hours of eight and nine o Clock on Thursday Evening
last he was robbed between Clapton Turnpike and Lee Bridge of
a Siver Watch and about half a Crown in Money by three Footpads And further says that he
is very sure that a person now present who calls himself John Barker< no role >
is one of the said Footpads and that another person now present who
calls himself William Glanville< no role > he doth verily believe to be another
of the said Footpads that so robbed him as aforesaid And the said
Jeremiah Branson< no role > says that he was in Company with the said
George Lynam< no role > at the time and place when he was robbed as
aforesaid, by three Footpads, and was himself also robbed of a
Watch in a gold onside case and Metal inside and about fourteen
shillings and Six pence in MoneyAnd further says that he is very
sure that the said William Glanville< no role > is one of the persons
that robbed him and that he doth verily believe the said
John Barker< no role > to be another of the Foorpads that so robbed him as
aforesaid - And the said John Atkins< no role > says that he is one of the
Patrole on the Kingsland Road - That last Night about 10 o Clock
he was in a single Horse Chaise between Clapton Turnpike
and Lee Bridge when the said John Parker< no role > William Glanville< no role >
and [..] another person jumped thro' a Hedge came into the
Road and endeavoured to stop the Chaise but this Informant
drove on to the White Hart at Clapton where he left the Chaise
and the said Thomas Parbury and this Informant came back
to endeavour to apprehended said MenThat about half way
between Clapton Turnpike and Lee Bridge he saw said Men
again and apprehended the said Barker and Glanville but
the other escapedAnd the said Thomas Parbury for himself
says that he is Hosther at the said White Hart Inn and went
by the desire of said John Atkins< no role > with him and assisted him
in securing the said Barker and Glanwille
