The Examination of Thomas Breeze< no role >
charged with Felony by Thos: Anslow< no role > & Ann King< no role >
of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square in
the C ounty of Middlesex Servants to the Honble
William Tollemache
; and taken before me William Addington< no role > Esqr.
one of his MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex , this 27th. Day of May
17 83

Who says that he this Examinant was found in the Kitchen
of the House belonging to the Honble: Wilbraham Tollemache
in Norfolk Street on Tuesday the 20th. Instant but that
he had no Intention to commit Felony. That as he was
passing said House his Hat blew off and into the Area,
whereupon he knocked several times at the Door, and finding
no person within, he get over the Rails & into the Area
to fetch it. That after he got his Hat & thinking there
was another and much carrier way of getting out backwards,
he went into the Kitchen, where he was secured by the
said Thomas Anslow< no role > And this Examinant further says
that he was not in the Chimney of said Kitchen at all, as
mentioned in the Information of Thomas Anslow< no role > .
